ICT is launching an Apple Tech Bar in the Central Library on the South Kensington Campus, in partnership with Academia, the College’s Apple supplier. This will be an advisory service only. 

From 31 October, students and staff will be able to visit the Apple Tech Bar for a range of support – from advice on how to set up devices, to how to recover an Apple ID.

The Apple Tech Bar will be operating a drop-in service between 10.00 - 16.00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To book a time slot, please use our online booking service, link below.  

Opening times 

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10.00 - 16.00 (starting from 31 October 2017). 

We are located in the Central Library on Level 1, opposite the central staircase, next to Room 110 and share a space with the main ICT Service Desk.

If you drop in to the Apple Tech Bar and the next slot is free, then this can be booked at the time. 

Students and staff must show their College ID card at their appointment.

Is this Tech Bar only for Apple products?

Yes, this Tech Bar offers a free service to students and staff who require support for Apple products. 

What happens if you want support with non-College owned Apple products?

The Apple Tech Bar will still provide an initial consultation and advice for personal Apple products. We won't however be able to offer any repairs. 

Can you repair iPhones?

No, at the moment we can only offer advice and do not have the means to repair phones on site. All phone repairs will be sent back to Academia head quarters. 

The future of the Apple Tech Bar

ICT and Academia plan to increase their Apple operating licence to offer an on site technical repair centre. This will be provided free of charge for College-owned products and chargeable for personal devices.
