Global Summer School About

Imperial College London’s Global Summer School is an intensive two-week residential programme for the highest achieving students from across the world.

Overview

Imperial College London’s Global Summer School is an intensive two-week residential programme for the highest achieving students aged 16 and 17 from across the world.

It offers you the chance to learn from current teachers at a world top 10 university – the only one in the UK to focus solely on science, engineering, medicine and business.

You will have the chance to take your subject knowledge to the next level through a challenging academic programme that balances lectures, seminars and a high level of practical work. This includes the chance to access professional advice and guidance around applying for university study in the UK, especially to Imperial College London.

In week one you will join a learning stream: either Engineering, Medicine and life sciences, or Physical sciences, and attend a range of focussed sessions delivered by Imperial faculty members. In week two you will take part in a team project working together with students from other streams to solve a real-world challenge.

You will also enjoy a packed evening and weekend social programme to help you enjoy your time in London to the full. Find out more about Imperial's central London location.
